Job summary

Duravent Group is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst, FP&A to support Board of Directors activities and to operate from a hybrid Detroit office (2-3 days in office).

You will develop and maintain performance reporting systems and provide financial analytics to empower strategic decisions, including capital budgeting, ROI analysis, and cost-center variance reviews. This role partners with finance, engineering, and operations to drive value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 2-4 years of financial analyst experience.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills to report performance to key stakeholders.
• Ability to read and understand all aspects of financial statements.
• Highly motivated, self-driven critical thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Previous experience with SAP, Oracle, or Tableau preferred.
• Candidates with current work authorization in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Executive Leadership Team to prepare monthly performance reports and BOD presentation materials.
• Monitor strategic growth and profitability initiatives. Develop and maintain Value Creation Roadmap financial model.
• Prepare Sales, General and Administrative cost center variance analysis for review with FP&A Director and CFO.
• Work with VP, Engineering to track new product development and associated sales growth.
• Own, coordinate and maintain the annual Capital Expenditure budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
• Work with Operations, Engineering, IT, and other departments to collect and review capital investment requests.
• Support financial evaluations of capital investment proposals, including ROI, payback, and other financial metrics.
