Job summary

Det-Tronics, a global technology leader in industrial life safety solutions, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the annual operating plan and performance analytics. You will manage a team of FP&A analysts and partner with the CFO to drive value creation through strategy and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include building multi-year models, dashboards, profitability analytics, and supporting M&A and working capital optimization in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years progressive FP&A experience.
• Mastery of financial modeling, sensitivity/scenario analysis, and operational KPI development.
• Expertise in manufacturing cost structures, standard costing, and inventory optimization.
• Hands-on ERP (JDE) and BI experience (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Resilient, detail-oriented, and proactive driver of change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial models.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify margin expansion and working capital opportunities.
• Build scenario and 'what-if' models to stress test strategic initiatives.
• Design and implement performance dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Own profitability analytics to inform pricing, product mix, and channel strategy.
• Prepare clear financial packages for senior leadership and private equity sponsor.
• Support M&A activity, including target evaluation and due diligence.
• Manage and develop a team of FP&A analysts and drive automation.
