Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in affordable housing or real estate analysis, underwriting, development, financing, or asset management.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI for financial reporting and analytics.
• Budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and performance management.
• Understanding of financial statements, KPIs and drivers, and ability to translate into insights.
• Excellent communication and business acumen with ability to connect ops to finance.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and reporting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain variance analyses monthly, quarterly and yearly against budget and forecast.
• Build financial models for forecasting, capital allocation, and M&A decisions.
• Partner with leaders to translate operational activities into KPIs and metrics.
• Perform analyses for growth initiatives, capital investments, and project cash flows.
• Support underwriting for acquisitions and new developments.
• Leverage ERP to improve reporting and analytics and drive process improvement.
