Job summary

The Timothy Initiative in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Financial Analyst to support planning and analysis, prepare monthly reports, analyze results, and aid budgeting and forecasting processes for ministry operations.

You will work with the FP&A leadership to monitor performance, build financial models, and provide data-driven insights to leaders across departments, emphasizing accuracy, timely delivery, and stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Prepare KPI and operational metric reporting.
• Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast.
• Support headcount, payroll, and program spending analyses.
• Maintain financial planning system data accuracy.
• Assist with reporting automation and process improvements.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses for ministry and operational leaders.
• Support special projects assigned by FP&A leadership.
