Hogan is seeking a Procurement professional to manage and align the Purchasing Department with the company’s objectives. The role focuses on controlling purchasing processes, supplier relations, and cost-effective procurement strategies across North America.

You will prepare purchase orders, respond to inquiries, schedule deliveries, compare bids, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Strong communication, organization, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of class 3-8 truck and trailer equipment required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares purchase orders and sends copies to suppliers and departments.
• Responds to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Coordinates with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve shortages.
• Verifies requisitions with sales to ensure accuracy and specs.
• Maintains purchasing files, reports and price lists.
• Compares bids and prices to determine best supplier.
• Tracks requisitions, rebates, and orders; recommends actions.
• Approves bills for payment to suppliers.
• Ensures compliance with state/local governmental rules affecting purchases.
