Job summary

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is a people focused, award-winning, full-service consulting firm. We are seeking a Strategic Fleet Manager to lead the management and optimization of our vehicle fleet from Maumee, OH or Detroit, MI.

The role drives safety, efficiency, and cost-effective operations, coordinating with Holman FMC, Trilon Fleet Leadership, and internal stakeholders. Hybrid work is available after 90 days, with occasional travel to sites and vendor meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of fleet management experience.
• Experience managing third-party FMCs, preferably Holman.
• Strong knowledge of fleet compliance, safety regulations and risk management.
• Proficiency in telematics systems and fleet management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet strategy and program management with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee fleet operations, registrations, licensing, and insurance documentation.
• Manage cost utilization and optimization, including transitions to company vehicles.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management alongside EHS and Legal teams.
• Handle telematics data management and KPI reporting.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the fleet.
