Job summary

Wheels, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide an initiative-taking, consultative approach to optimize fleet performance for clients. You will deliver summary reports showing cost containment, driver compliance, and ROE improvements, and set up tracking and reporting to secure client buy-in.

The role requires managing fleet policy changes, maintenance decisions, depreciation planning, and vendor management, with emphasis on cost efficiency across client portfolios.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Fleet Management experience.
• CAFM certification preferred.
• Understand, create, and implement a Fleet Leasing and Management policy.
• Strong analytical skills, verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel); PowerPoint preferred.
• Proficient at Excel with pivot tables and cost analysis; MS Project usage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reporting to Clients to drive policy adherence and cost containment.
• Present Business Review to clients with the Director, Strategic Programs.
• Identify opportunities to increase product penetration and client value.
• Lead new client activation for portfolio assignments.
• Proficient in Wheels systems including Salesforce, FleetView and CSD.
• Manage Salesforce cases within established OLAs.
• Review and enhance fleet policy changes to save time and costs.
• Manage maintenance and rental vehicle approvals per client parameters.
• Oversee client inventory and vehicle utilization for cost efficiency.
• Provide lifecycle cost analysis and report findings to clients.
• Support corporate projects and risk mitigation activities.
