Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking a mid to senior Financial Analyst to perform budget analyses and manage resource allocations in the Strategic Deterrence program. You will provide financial guidance, analyze funding sources, and support decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a DOE Q-level security clearance or eligibility, a bachelor’s degree in business/finance, and extensive experience with financial databases, GAAP, and complex budgeting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience applying analytical skills to research, interpret, analyze, compile, and present financial data.
• Experience performing financial functions including GAAP.
• Experience with self-assessments and audits.

Responsabilités

• Independently develop and analyze complex financial plans and provide recommendations for management review.
• Gather and analyze funding, costing, and workforce data; research variances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide financial consultation and improve business processes.
• Prepare for financial audits and represent the organization.
• Develop institutional metrics and align with the Institutional Work Breakdown Structure.
