Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Finance Practice Group Manager to support and lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance Practice Group. The role partners with firm leadership to drive strategic initiatives, staffing decisions, budgeting, and process improvements across practice teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or related field.
JD and Finance practice experience preferred.
5+ years’ experience in legal practice management or similar role.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic goals and execution plans for the Finance Practice Group.
Lead consensus-building and support leadership decisions.
Prepare agendas and follow-ups for partner meetings including financial updates.
Collaborate with HR and other teams to support attorney development and inclusion.
Assist pricing, matter budgets, and client pitches.
Drive process improvements in matter management, staffing, billing, and workflows.
Oversee workloads and staffing distribution for profitability.
Coordinate cross-office staffing on matters.
