Job summary

HonorVet Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Legal Compliance Manager to guide the firm's Finance Practice Group. You will partner with practice group leadership to drive strategic planning, staffing, and operational improvements while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Marketing, and firm leadership, with a focus on development, performance metrics, and delivering client-ready compliance programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of legal practice management or 8–10+ years of law practice experience.
• Experience in law firm or professional services management preferred.
• Strong understanding of law firm operations, staffing, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic goals and initiatives.
• Support attorney staffing, recruiting, talent management, and development.
• Monitor staffing efficiency, utilization, and workload across the practice group.
• Coordinate training, coaching, and development programs for attorneys.
• Support business development activities including RFPs and pitches.
• Collaborate with Finance and Pricing on budgets and fee estimates.
• Analyze financial, staffing, and operations data to aid decisions.
• Identify improvements to matter management, staffing, billing, and workflows.
• Coordinate matter assignments and cross-office staffing by client needs.
• Work with HR, Marketing, BD, Finance, and other teams on initiatives.
