Job summary

Moore & Van Allen PLLC is seeking an experienced Manager of Lateral Recruiting to lead lateral attorney and contract attorney recruiting in its Charlotte, NC office. You will partner with firm leadership to develop strategies, oversee full-cycle recruitment, and manage budgets and analytics.

The role requires strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with 4+ years in legal or professional services recruiting. JD preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of legal recruiting or professional services recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic recruiting initiatives aligned with the firm's business and talent objectives.
• Monitor legal hiring market trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Evaluate and enhance recruiting processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and equity.
• Oversee the firm's lateral attorney referral program, including policy management, reporting, and analytics.
• Lead and manage candidate experience from outreach through start date; maintain relationships with search firms and agencies.
• Draft and prepare lateral attorney offer letters for review and approval; produce recruiting reports and dashboards.
• Manage annual lateral recruiting budget and monitor resource allocation; analyze hiring metrics for improvement.
