Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the US Area Customs House Brokerage (CHB) to provide insightful analysis and support for strategic decisions. You will partner with the US Area CHB Product Head and other leaders to drive growth, cost optimization and capital investment initiatives.

In this role you will own reporting, forecasting and performance management, while challenging assumptions with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 7+ years in relevant work experience – Analysis and Financial reporting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong SAP and PowerBI skills.
• Proficient in Cube, CargoWise and Sage INTACCT.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly performance reviews, operation plans, rolling forecasts, long-term business plans and target setting with cross-functional partners.
• Provide leadership and financial analysis to improve profitability, efficiency and business objectives.
• Partner with US Area Product Head to derive insights and drive growth.
• Share best practices across Global and Regional FBPs and drive cross-regional collaboration.
• Review investment cases and business process improvements; ensure compliance with local and global requirements.
• Participate in monthly accounting close processes.
