You will supervise a cost accountant, drive cost reduction, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and collaborate with the Plant Manager to improve profitability.

This is a senior role in a high-tech manufacturing environment with relocation support and annual bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Finance Manager/Plant Controller or Accounting Manager.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge and supervision of a cost accountant.
• Experience in financial budgeting and financial forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Own financial budgeting and ongoing forecasts, partnering with Plant Manager to drive profitability.
• Manage accounting system, cost reporting accuracy, and cost control measures across the plant.
• Lead budget planning and forecast process for Independence costs per corporate guidelines.
• Oversee annual standard costs updates per corporate guidelines.
• Ensure inventory balances comply with US GAAP and company standards.
• Review BOM accuracy to reflect actual production.
• Evaluate investment projects to ensure target returns meet guidelines.
