Job summary

On Top Of The World Communities is seeking a Vice President of Finance to safeguard financial health and guide strategy for construction and land development. This senior leader will oversee budgeting, forecasting, insurance, and internal controls while partnering with executives to drive profitability across business units.

The role requires a strong background in construction finance, advanced modeling, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance or a related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in construction/land development

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
• Advise executive leadership on construction and land development finances.
• Oversee development projects with cost control, margins, and capital planning.
• Develop financial models and ROI analyses for business cases and risk.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
• Mentor finance and accounting teams for accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with construction, land development, operations, and sales teams.
• Prepare and present reports to leadership, Board, and external stakeholders.
• Lead capital planning and financing strategies, including debt structuring.
• Improve efficiency via scalable systems and reporting processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and departmental costs.
• Oversee insurance procurement and risk management across entities.
• Supervise according to policies and laws.
• Adhere to OTOW standards and strive for safety.
• Maintain professional demeanor and integrity.
