Job summary

CBIZ Talent Solutions seeks a VP Finance to lead the finance function in a manufacturing-driven, PE-backed middle-market company. Based in Walpole, NH, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, KPI development and strategic initiatives while partnering with the CEO and Board.

The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on finance experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proven ability to implement ERP systems and lead cross-functional teams in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record as a senior finance leader in a fast-paced PE-backed middle market company.
• 10-15 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
• Standalone company financial leadership with process design and board-level communication.
• Ability to conceptualize and operationalize plans.
• Familiarity with leveraged lending covenants and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving with a fact-based approach to analysis.
• Experience with private equity-owned businesses and rigorous reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, accounting, controls, treasury, audit and tax.
• Monitor day-to-day financial activity and ensure goals are met.
• Manage cash flow, treasury reporting and banking relationships.
• Build KPI frameworks linking manufacturing and commercial performance to finance.
• Lead the accounting and finance staff.
• Lead relationships with banks and lenders; ensure covenants compliance.
• Develop and maintain sound financial controls, policy and process.
• Evaluate growth initiatives, acquisitions and capex plans.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes with the executive team.
• Lead working capital optimization including inventory and DSO.
• Monitor supply chain finance dynamics and vendor terms.
• Communicate effectively with the board and stakeholders.
