Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a Sr. Manager for GTM Finance & Strategy in San Francisco. You will own financial strategy, analytical infrastructure, and executive-level advisory for a high-growth SaaS GTM segment, partnering with Sales, RevOps, and CFO’s office.

You’ll forecast topline performance, manage ARR reporting, and own the end-to-end P&L, including complex areas like commissions and GAAP revenue dynamics. The role demands autonomy and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth SaaS.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and build conviction-backed points of view.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics; MBA a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior executives.
• Fluency with sales/CPQ data and BI tools (Looker) and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own financial strategy and performance narrative for a key GTM segment.
• Forecast topline performance and tie to revenue outcomes.
• Own ARR reporting infrastructure, CPQ data hygiene, and GAAP revenue dynamics.
• Lead end-to-end P&L planning and budget governance (headcount, T&E, commissions).
• Architect and improve financial models and forecasting frameworks.
• Lead strategic projects (long-range planning, GTM strategy, capacity analysis).
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, CS, and CFO’s office.
