OpenGov seeks a strategic, results-driven Sr. Finance & Strategy Manager to join the GTM Finance & Strategy team at OpenGov. This high-visibility role drives financial strategy and business partnership for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, influencing key growth decisions.

The role owns analytical infrastructure, financial narrative, and advisory relationships with senior stakeholders, reporting to the Director, GTM Finance & Strategy, and collaborating with the CFO and GTM leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• 6-10+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth SaaS.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives.
• Advanced financial modeling skills; build scalable models from first principles.
• Fluency with CRM/CPQ data and BI tools; comfortable diagnosing complex data issues.
• Experience partnering with and influencing senior leadership; high ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive the financial strategy and performance narrative for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, linking operational drivers to financial outcomes.
• Forecast topline performance—bookings, capacity, productivity, retention, pipeline, win rates, backlog—and tie to revenue.
• Own end-to-end ARR reporting infrastructure; collaborate on CPQ data structure, data hygiene, and deal guardrails.
• Own the end-to-end P&L; forecast and manage GTM spend including headcount, T&E, and commissions.
• Architect and improve financial models, reporting infrastructure, and forecasting frameworks.
• Lead strategic projects: long-range planning, go-to-market strategy, market analysis, and variable compensation design.
• Build deep cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Professional Services, RevOps, Customer Success, and CFO’s office.
