Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a Sr. Finance & Strategy Manager to lead financial strategy for GTM functions in a high-visibility role at our San Francisco HQ. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to shape growth and influence senior leaders.

You will own analytics infrastructure, financial narrative, and strategic advisory, driving autonomous, evidence-based decisions across the organization and partnering closely with the CFO and GTM leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6–10+ years in strategic finance, with growth in SaaS.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with executives.
• Advanced financial modeling from first principles and scalable structures.
• Fluency with CRM/CPQ data and Looker.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial strategy and performance narrative for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
• Forecast and explain topline performance by product and segment; link to revenue.
• Own end-to-end ARR reporting, CPQ data hygiene, and GAAP revenue dynamics.
• Manage GTM P&L and budget vs. actual; oversee headcount, T&E, and commissions.
• Improve financial models, reporting infra, and forecasting frameworks.
• Lead long-range planning, GTM strategy, and market analysis projects.
• Build partnerships with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and CFO team.
