Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) is seeking a highly analytical Director of Finance & Strategy to partner with the VP of Finance & Strategy. This role will support critical financial, operational, and commercial decisions across a fast-growing manufacturing business.

The candidate will combine strong Excel and financial-modeling skills with a practical understanding of P&L dynamics, and will work cross-functionally with operations, commercial, supply chain, accounting, and other leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or similarly rigorous analytical environments.
• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and how decisions affect revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills including complex formulas, pivot tables and scenario analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, long-range planning, and ad hoc decisions.
• Analyze historical and projected performance to identify drivers of revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA.
• Develop scenario analyses to evaluate risks, opportunities, and trade-offs for key business decisions.
• Support monthly reporting, leadership reviews, and board materials with clear analysis.
