Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a Director of FP&A to partner with the CFO and senior leadership. The role transforms complex financial data into actionable insights, leading an internal team of analysts and guiding enterprise performance through budgeting, forecasting, and performance dashboards.

You will drive profitability analyses, capital planning, and strategic initiatives, while strengthening financial controls and governance across regions.

Qualifications

• MBA in finance or a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field with work experience.
• 7–10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• 5+ years in direct management or leadership capacity.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to identify trends, investigate variances, and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Proficient in Excel and BI tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted partnerships with executive and operational leadership to understand business drivers and provide financial insights.
• Lead annual budget, multi-year plan, rolling forecasts, and performance across the organization.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, labor, overhead, and other metrics for optimization.
• Provide actionable insights into profitability, capital planning, and ops performance.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial leaders and stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly reporting, variances, and performance dashboards.
• Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, pricing analyses, and planning.
• Collaborate to improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and processes.
• Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and special projects through financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting consistency across regions and processes.
• Partner with CFO to design and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
