Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Operations Finance Controllership professional to deliver critical finance processes, balance ledgers, and manage stakeholder requests within SLAs. You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Treasury and other teams, lead process improvements, and drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, expert knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements, and strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with degree or equivalent.

• Expert knowledge of finance systems and technology.
• Deep knowledge of products, processes and controls.
• Strong understanding of risk and regulatory requirements.
• In-depth prioritization skills.
• Experience with Datascan, PMS or InfoLease is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Seasoned professional with education, experience and industry knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills at an in-depth level.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day delivery of critical operations finance controllership processes including loan administration and servicing.
• Support balancing of ledgers, payments, transactions and inquiries within SLAs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Treasury and stakeholders to improve processes.
• Lead change management and process improvement initiatives of varying scope.
• Develop analytics and reporting to inform business decisions.
