Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a senior operations finance controllership professional in the United States. You will deliver loan administration, servicing, and ledger balancing; drive analytics, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration to achieve financial and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology – Expert.
• Knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls – Expert.
• Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – Expert.
• Prioritization skills – In-depth.
• PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Expert.
• Accounting or Finance experience
• Management & leadership experience is an asset.
• Experience with Datascan, PMS, and/or InfoLease is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day delivery of critical operations finance controllership processes including loan administration and servicing activities.
• Supports balancing of ledgers, payments, transactions, etc.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to promote efficient and effective processes and workflow.
• Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to inform business decision making.
• Leads change management programs of varying scope and type.
• Leads the development of the communication strategy focusing on positively influencing behaviour.
• Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives.
• Manages resources and leads execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
• Oversees vendor relationships and ensures agreements are met.
• Provides accurate and timely processing of service requests within SLAs and policies.
