Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks an experienced Relationship Leader to drive growth in commercial banking, manage strategic client portfolios, and structure complex deals while ensuring risk controls are maintained. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored financial solutions and expand business relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate banking environment with sales metrics preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for complex client issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Structure deals and secure credit approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop new business by contacting prospects and clients and cross-selling Bank products and services.
• Review loan applications and cash management agreements ensuring accuracy and risk compliance.
