You will partner with stakeholders to drive close processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver timely, accurate reporting for management and statutory needs.

The role emphasizes strategic input, SME leadership on accounting programs, and collaboration across groups to optimize performance while supporting risk management

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
• Professional accounting designation is preferred.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.

Responsibilities

• Applies expertise and provides advice in calculation, analysis, and reporting of financial results.
• Reviews and/or delivers accounting services and processing activities.
• Supports efficient and effective accounting function and reporting.
• Acts as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and provides strategic input.
• Leads execution of accounting programs and ensures quality of execution.
• Interfaces with internal/external auditors and regulators as needed.
