Job summary

BMO U.S. is seeking a senior finance controllership professional to drive critical operations finance processes, including loan administration and servicing, across ledgers, payments, and data reconciliation.

This role partners with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations to deliver results and improve stakeholder experience. Candidates should bring 7+ years in finance with expert knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in finance controllership.
• Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology – Expert.
• Knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls – Expert.
• Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – Expert.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Operations, and all stakeholders.
• Lead strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
• Define business requirements for analytics & reporting to inform decision making.
• Oversee change management programs and execution to ensure quality of results.
