Job summary

CCRC is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and deliver timely, audit-ready financial information. You will partner with executive leadership to strengthen internal controls, optimize processes, and support strategic growth.

The role requires deep financial discipline and a track record of managing large teams and complex ERP implementations. Based in California, this on-site position involves travel up to 5% and reports to the Vice President & CFO.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• CPA active license required.
• 4+ years Controller-level experience supervising staff.
• 10 years of leadership overseeing large teams and financial systems.
• Proven experience managing a general ledger and full-cycle close.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions: close, reporting, general ledger, A/P, A/R, grants and contracts accounting.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and timely financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Provide financial insights to executives and support strategic growth.
• Oversee audits and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and develop accounting staff.
