Job summary

CC Power is seeking a Senior Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and controls while expanding the finance function across operations and compliance. The role emphasizes leadership depth, technical redundancy, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve processes and provide actionable insights.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of leadership in accounting, CPA credentials, and strong GAAP knowledge, with experience in project-based or infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools and workflow automation is a plus.
• Experience leading accounting within construction, utility, or project-based orgs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and financial planning activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, tax regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor job costing, project profitability, and WIP reporting.
• Lead annual audits and liaise with auditors, banks, insurers, and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, capital investments, and expansion initiatives.
