Job summary

CFS, based in Fresno County, seeks a highly capable Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership to influence strategic financial decisions and ensure accurate GAAP-compliant reporting.

In addition to overseeing month- and year-end closes, you will strengthen internal controls, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive continuous process improvement in a values-driven, community-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting or finance leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
