Job summary

Child Care Resource Center, Inc. (CCRC) seeks a Controller to lead the finance function from its Chatsworth, CA office. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the general ledger, close, reporting, grants and contracts accounting, and regulatory compliance, while driving process improvements and internal controls.

Travel is minimal as needed. Ideal candidates hold a CPA, bachelor’s in accounting, and 10+ years in senior finance roles, with experience in grant funding and large-scale ERP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• CPA active license required.
• 10+ years in leadership roles overseeing large financial teams.
• Experience with grant/fund accounting and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, close, reporting and financial statements.
• Manage compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Lead process improvements and system implementations.
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership.
• Develop and mentor finance staff and manage cross-functional collaboration.
