Plaid is seeking a highly analytical Strategic Finance professional to own core revenue forecasting and the drivers behind it. You will work with the GTM organization to turn data-driven insights into actionable planning and decision-making.

You will build and validate financial models, automate forecasting processes, and contribute to cross-functional alignment on targets. The role emphasizes data fluency, modeling, and clear communication of complex insights.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or FP&A/strategic finance, ideally at a high-growth tech company.
• Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with ability to work with large datasets (SQL, AI tools, or both) and validate financial models.
• Strong financial modeling, communication, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable solving complex, ambiguous problems and distilling them into structured insights.
• Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive alignment on financial targets.
• Proficient with core financial and GTM systems; Pigment, Tableau, or similar FP&A/BI tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own core pieces of Plaid's top-line revenue forecast and build models that translate business activity into forward-looking numbers.
• Explain what drives the forecast by analyzing internal data and external market factors, and automate the process over time.
• Partner with the GTM organization to convert forecasting work into actionable insights for planning and decisions.
• Own recurring KPI and variance reporting cadences for stakeholders, surfacing risks and opportunities early.
• Help recruit and grow a strong Strategic Finance team at Plaid.
