Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Office of the President seeks an Assistant Managing Director - Finance & Administration to provide strategic oversight across financial and administrative functions.

The role leads budget preparation, reporting, payroll transactions, and contract reviews, while coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes for the Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in finance/administration, or 9+ years combined education/experience.
• Experience developing, submitting, and maintaining budgets.
• Experience with financial systems and data analytics tools.
• Strong ability to build and sustain constructive working relationships with team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop, submit, and maintain budgets for the Office of the President and Healthy Communities; lead budget prep system, data entry, reporting, and recommendations.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of budget, payroll, and other transactions (ePAFs, labor redistributions, EOPS, PASS) per policy.
• Serve as hiring coordinator for Office of the President team; manage postings, interviews, and documentation.
• Manage annual position descriptions for Office of the President team members.
• Ensure timely performance reviews and support onboarding for new team members.
• Coordinate internal contract review processes and support contract system requests.
