Job summary

Bunzl Processor Division is seeking a Field Sales Rep to cover Virginia and West Virginia. You will develop and drive sales across bakery/produce/meat processing, industrial packaging, PPE, safety, sanitation and plant supply segments, while building strong customer relationships and managing inquiries.

Responsibilities include expanding penetration in existing accounts, meeting sales and margin goals, implementing pricing strategies, and collaborating with manufacturers' reps and internal

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business is a plus.
• Must have practical sales experience in at least one of the following markets: food processing facility, emphasis selling technical films and packaging, PPE, janitorial/sanitation preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and mathematical skills; friendly and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel); IBM AS/400 experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while prospecting and building new accounts.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts.
• Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items.
• Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Manager on a regular basis.
• Communicate and cooperate with all departments in a productive manner.
• Utilize VIP selling techniques and methodologies.
