Job summary

Bunzl Processor Division is seeking a Field Sales Rep for the Virginia and West Virginia area. The Sales Rep will create, develop and drive sales within target markets including bakery/produce/meat processing, industrial packaging, PPE, safety equipment, sanitation, and other plant supply needs.

In addition to serving as a business development partner, the Sales Rep will build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, manage Accounts Receivables, and effectively

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Selling/Marketing/Business a plus.
• Sales experience in food processing, packaging, PPE, or janitorial sectors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding customer service and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; IBM iSeries/AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts
• Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items
• Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Manager on a regular basis
• Communicate and cooperate in a productive manner with all departments
• Utilize all appropriate VIP (Dimensions of Professional Selling) techniques and methodologies
