Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager in Birmingham, AL to support the Bone Health business unit. You will manage payer access, educate providers, and coordinate reimbursement efforts across a defined geography, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.

The role requires experience in the pharmaceutical access landscape, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 40%. A Doctorate/Master’s or equivalent experience is preferred, with a track record in leading

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or Specialty Pharmacy knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for patient access and reimbursement.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes impacting patient access.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with HUB and other partners.
• Provide information on benefit design coverage for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Lead cross-functional partner meetings to resolve reimbursement issues.
