Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field HR Manager to align people objectives with business needs and manage HR services across units in the Midwest. The role requires partnering with management to drive workforce planning, policy interpretation, and strategic HR initiatives.

You will lead performance management, trainings, and organizational design while ensuring legal compliance and maintaining strong relationships with employees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Willing to travel up to 50% due to acquisition integration.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM-CP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consult with line management, providing HR guidance.
• Analyze trends and metrics with HR to develop solutions and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Improve work relationships, morale, and retention in partnership with management and employees.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies.
