Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, ensuring timely and quality installation of contracted work on a major project. You will oversee self-performed and subcontracted activities, enforce safety and quality, and align with the project schedule to deliver on time and on budget.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling acumen, and ability to manage a diverse team across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related work experience.
• 7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.
• In-depth knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• OSHA or equivalent safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and quality installation of contracted work for a project or portion of one.
• Promote safety and quality among Clark employees and trade contractors with regular inspections.
• Create and manage a plan to sequence work, manage jobsite logistics, and track materials and personnel.
• Ensure high quality of work consistent with project and company standards.
• Lead initiative to deliver a project on schedule and on budget.
• Develop and communicate the project schedule and milestones with all stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing team.
• Cultivate relationships with project stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and building operations training.
• Demonstrate problem-solving to overcome obstacles and conflicts on the job.
