Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on major projects in the Nashville area. You will oversee both self-performed and contracted work, ensuring compliance with contract documents and the project schedule while prioritizing safety and quality.

You will drive planning, sequencing, and site logistics, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and mentor project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Experience leading field operations and communicating plans across audiences.
• Knowledge of safety and building regulations (OSHA).
• Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for a project portion or entire project.
• Promote safety and quality among Clark employees and trade contractors; conduct regular safety inspections.
• Create and manage plans to sequence work, manage site logistics, and track materials/personnel.
• Ensure high-quality work per project and company standards.
• Deliver projects on schedule and on budget; take initiative and accountability.
• Develop and communicate the project schedule; manage milestones with stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members; build a high-performing team.
• Build strong relationships with project stakeholders; maintain professionalism in meetings.
