Job summary

Maximus seeks a strategic Subcontracts leader to manage a team of subcontract specialists supporting proposals and operations. You will oversee the full lifecycle of subcontract awards, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance and strong business outcomes within a matrixed organization.

You will guide project teams on subcontract administration, risk, and strategy, while driving process improvements and training across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, NDA and TA best practices.
• Defense, National Security, or Intelligence sector experience preferred.
• ERP/CLM systems experience (Coupa/Costpoint) and MS Office.
• Experience leading teams in a matrixed, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance across portfolios.
• Develop and drive subcontracting strategies aligned with program goals.
• Advise project teams on subcontract administration and regulatory compliance.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and performance metrics.
