Job summary

Maximus is seeking a strategic Subcontracts leader to manage a team of subcontract specialists across proposals and operations. You will oversee award strategies, coordinate with project managers, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.

This role emphasizes negotiation, data analysis, and continuous improvement within a matrixed environment. You’ll leverage iCertis, Coupa, and CostPoint to administer awards, monitor performance, and support revenue-positive contracts while mentoring junior staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of subcontract awards and administering award documents.
FAR/DFARS compliance, NDA and TA best practices and CPSR considerations.

Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance from solicitation through closeout.
Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, schedules, and performance metrics.
Develop subcontract strategies across portfolios and advise project teams.
Maintain subcontract files in line with regulations and internal policies.
Drive training and continuous improvement within the subcontracting team.
