Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia Inc in Baltimore seeks a pricing professional to develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies for federal and commercial contracts. You will analyze cost data and prepare clear pricing analyses for stakeholders, staying current with FAR/DFARS requirements.

The role requires strong Excel skills, cost-estimating capabilities, and proven negotiation experience, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience developing pricing in a nonprofit, federal consulting, or similar industry.
• Solid understanding of federal contract pricing structures (FFP, Cost-Plus, IDIQ, etc.) and regulations (FAR, DFARS).
• Strong working knowledge of the SCA, DBA, and labor union CBAs.
• Advanced Excel skills and cost estimating techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in cost accounting.
• Proven track record in negotiations and customer presentations.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ISSA Clean standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies for federal and commercial contracts.
• Analyze cost data and prepare clear, actionable pricing analysis reports for stakeholders.
• Stay current on WDR, CBA, and FAR requirements to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate across departments to support successful negotiations and proposals.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Uphold confidentiality and high standards of integrity in all work.
