Job summary

Acadian Client Services seeks a Facility Billing Contract Specialist in Lafayette, LA to manage receivables for assigned facility contracts and sustain strong relationships with the Vice President of Operations.

You will review renewals, verify payer types, post payments, prepare daily and monthly billings, reconcile deposits, and produce monthly admin reports. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 5+ years facility billing/management experience.
• 3+ years Medical Billing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Review receivables on facility contracts up for renewal.
• Pre-verify payer types for government or private sectors.
• Pre-verify all stand-by accounts.
• Review adjustments for transports billed to facilities.
• Prepare daily and monthly billings for hospitals and facilities.
• Post and reconcile facility payments and deposits.
• Review questionable payments and process refunds.
• Handle inbound facility inquiries and correspondence.
• Prepare monthly admin reports for leadership review.
