Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time billing experience in a non-skilled home care agency.
• Expertise with VA, LTC, private pay, Medicaid, and Medicare billing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely claims to VA, LTC, private pay, Medicaid, and Medicare.
• Manage and track accounts receivable; ensure prompt payment and follow-up on balances.
• Maintain detailed records of patient billing and AR.
• Collaborate to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting as needed.
• Stay updated with billing regulations and industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, payors, and staff.
