Job summary

Dow is hiring an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple locations including Midland, Houston, Terneuzen and Tarragona. You will define opportunities, align strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and drive value with internal partners.

You will manage risk, lead projects, and ensure supplier performance through SRM and KPI-driven improvements. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify scope of purchase and service requirements.
• Drive value from the market using business acumen and market knowledge to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess and manage risk across market, supplier and purchasing activities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for competitive and reliable purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs/RFQs, competitive bidding, bid evaluation and negotiations.
• Negotiate, execute and implement commercial agreements per regional strategies.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluation and drive continuous improvement via SRM and KPIs (Safety, Productivity, Quality).
