Job summary

Lumentum is seeking an experienced Senior Export Control Operations Lead to support U.S. export operations and strengthen the company’s global export compliance framework.

As part of the Americas Trade Operations Team, you will lead jurisdiction and classification, licensing, screening, and deemed export controls for the region, collaborating with Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to enable compliant global trade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 12+ years of U.S. export control experience with EAR/ITAR and U.S. sanctions.
• Hands-on experience with complex classification, licensing, screening, and technology control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine export jurisdiction and classification for hardware and technology under EAR/ITAR.
• Prepare, submit, and manage export licenses and authorizations.
• Conduct end-use/end-user, destination and sanctions screening.
