Lumentum is seeking an experienced Senior Export Control Operations Lead to manage U.S. export controls, licensing, and screening across the Americas.

This role will drive classification accuracy, license management, and end-use due diligence within a fast‑paced, global matrix. Ideal candidates bring deep EAR/ITAR expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to ensure compliant, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of U.S. export control experience with EAR/ITAR and sanctions.
• Hands-on experience with classification, licensing, screening and technology control requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine and document export jurisdiction and classification for hardware and technology under EAR/ITAR.
• Prepare, submit and manage export licenses including TAAs/MLAs and monitor license conditions.
• Conduct end-use, end-user, destination screening and sanctions checks.
• Develop and maintain Technology Control Plans (TCPs) and advise on license conditions.
• Support improvement of the global export compliance program and deliver training.
