Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain, engineering, or related.
• 12+ years of U.S. export control experience with the EAR, ITAR, and U.S. sanctions.
• Hands-on experience executing complex classification, licensing, screening, and technology control requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail in regulatory scenarios.
• Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine and document export jurisdiction and classification for hardware and technology under EAR/ITAR, perform de minimis analyses, and assign ECCNs.
• Identify licensing requirements and manage export licenses, including TAAs and MLAs.
• Conduct end-use, end-user, destination, and sanctions screening and due diligence.
• Manage deemed export compliance, including TCPs and license tracking.
• Support the global export compliance program through audits, controls, and training.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, IT to integrate export control requirements.
• Lead process improvements, automation, and digital tooling to enhance compliance.
• Engage with industry groups and regulators to stay informed on policy changes.
