Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an Executive Recruitment Director to lead the organization’s executive search function, directing sourcing, assessment, and offers with independence and strategic alignment.

The role partners with the CHRO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team to define leadership profiles, guide evaluation standards, manage external retained search firms, and ensure a confidential, high‑quality candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Executive Market Expertise: Advanced knowledge of executive talent markets, leadership assessment frameworks, and search methodologies.
• Strategic Advisement: Strong consultative and negotiation skills with the ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent relationship-building and executive presence for external talent.
• Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle highly sensitive information with professionalism.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple high‑priority searches with quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end executive recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, assessment, selection, and offers.
• Partner with CHRO, CEO, and ELT to define leadership profiles and evaluation standards.
• Conduct talent mapping, market scans, and manage external retained search firms for delivery.
• Coach hiring leaders on interviewing and data-driven decision-making; ensure a confidential candidate experience.
• Maintain transparent governance with compensation, legal, and offer processes; deliver strategic talent insights.
