Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the full life cycle recruitment across the organization. This role partners with senior leadership and HR to forecast staffing needs and implement strategies that attract top talent while maintaining a diverse, inclusive workforce.

The position manages the TA team, vendors, and Workday recruitment modules, driving continuous improvements in recruitment processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 5–10 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience with at least 5 years in management.
• Experience in unionized environments and strong employment law knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Staffing Department and TA team leadership.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to align recruiting with business goals.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and retention initiatives.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, budgets and supplier contracts.
• Partner with senior management to forecast workforce needs and staffing plans.
• Lead training and development for TA staff and HR partners.
• Drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within hiring practices.
• Report to executive team on performance, trends, and opportunities.
