Job summary

Bertelsmann in the United States seeks an Executive Business Manager to partner with the President of Global TECH. This role drives strategic initiatives, ensures follow-through, and elevates leadership communications across a global business unit.

This high-impact position requires operating with strategic insight, executive presence, and disciplined execution to advance the leadership team’s priorities and objectives.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, business management, project management, account management, or executive support roles.
• Experience working directly with senior executives.
• Proven ability to operate in complex international organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the President to drive business priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex topics into compelling executive narratives, presentations, and leadership communications.
• Prepare materials for Board meetings, Executive Board discussions, customer reviews, strategy sessions, and leadership meetings.
• Anticipate business needs and proactively identify opportunities and challenges.
• Coordinate and support the Senior Leadership Team and Leadership Team.
• Ensure leadership meetings are effective, focused, and action-oriented.
• Track commitments, decisions, and follow-up actions across the organization.
• Hold leaders accountable for agreed deliverables and deadlines.
• Create high-impact presentations and communication materials.
• Develop clear storylines for customer presentations, leadership updates, strategic proposals, and organizational communications.
• Transform complex information into concise executive messages tailored to different audiences.
• Own follow-up of critical initiatives and strategic projects.
• Monitor progress, elevate risks, and ensure execution against commitments.
• Coordinate regular insights on key business developments, risks, opportunities, and customer priorities with leadership team.
• Prepare briefings ahead of customer meetings, leadership reviews, and board discussions.
• Support KPI reviews and business performance tracking.
