Bertelsmann, Inc. is hiring a Vice President, Human Resources to lead the HR function across a decentralized, multi-entity environment with a strategic and hands-on approach. You will shape people strategy, workforce planning, and executive partnership while driving priority initiatives including M&A activity.

The role reports to the CEO, spans corporate benefits, employee benefits, and HR-Payroll-IT, and requires in-office work in New York City at least two days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.
• Master's degree (MBA, MHRM, or related discipline) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience.
• 8+ years in senior executive HR leadership roles.
• Experience leading HR strategy in decentralized, growing organizations including M&A integration.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership of HR across a decentralized, multi-entity environment.
• Lead talent management, succession, and leadership development initiatives.
• Champion culture, DEI, employee engagement and wellbeing.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR programs across US entities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and governance.
• Direct HR operations, payroll, and HRIS with a focus on digital transformation.
